Cook’s Inn
After a short stop at Pineridge Condominiums to drop our bags and have a little rest, we were on the road again. This time, we were looking for a place to have breakfast. We were all very hungry. After a lot of discussion over the two-way radio we brought, one for each car, we finally decided to try Cook’s Inn.
Cook’s Inn is a small restaurant inside Burnham Hotel. That’s how far I got when I searched for some info about this restaurant. So, here’s an instant post, with pictures to boot, about this small restaurant from the same owners as Forest House (I think).
Here’s a small peak at the Burnham Hotel lobby too, which is decorated with ethnic bags, mats, trinkets, and armors and weapons from the Ifugaos, I think.
Since it was breakfats breakfast, we had their -silog varieties (at around Php90 each). The longganisa was quite good, and my daing na bangus, though small (no bigger than an egg really), was quite tasty. But the clear winners were their sinigang and pansit (sorry no pics, told you we were hungry). Really good and tasty. If you get the chance, you might want to try their buttered chicken and fish fillet in white sauce too.

Lovely, i have always wanted to go to Baguio, soon, very very soon, i will!
the place looks good. need to visit baguio naman. tagal na din akong di naka punta maka pag food trip kaya dun hehehe
mukhang baguio na baguio ang dating. my feel of this restaurant is that the owners are proud of their heritage [assuming they're from baguio]…
wow, the floors and steps are shiny…so clean and neat. i love how they’ve decorated the place too. this place is a must.
talaga? same owner ng forest house? maganda nga! kakagutom!
Dong Ho and KG: Yup. The place looks very rustic.
Sheng: I sure hope you and the kids get to visit it.
Uptosixonly: Food trip nga ginawa namin dun. Overbudget!
Kayni: Ngayon ko lang rin napansin na malinis and well maintained nga sya.
Dyanie: Yup. We saw some posters of Forest House dun sa labas nya.
I like all how they paid tribute to the ethnic igorots sa design nila. The last time I went to Baguio I was in 6th grade. sigh… Seems I am missing a lot!
Garando: Do drop by. Thanks to NLEx and SCTEx, it’s just under 5 hours away. I’m sure your wife will love the cool weather and the great produce at the market.
